We are the Web

Sung by the explorers

We are the Web if we want to be

With points of connection in every direction

We are the Web If we want to be

Let's raise our world to the power of WE

Beyond the mere numbers is sheer synergy

Working together in sweet harmony

We can keep the Web alive and free

We are the Web if we want to be

With points of connection in every direction

We are the Web If we want to be

Freed from constraints of time and space

The Web can better the human race

Keep it real and human-based

Let's keep it a free and open place!

We are the Web if we want to be

With points of connection in every direction

We are the Web if we want to be

Now is the time for everyone

To take up the cause of Jefferson

Show all the world that it can be done

The spirit of the Moose lives on!

We are the Web if we want to be

With points of connection in every direction

We are the Web If we want to be

NARRATOR: The Sheep and Cats step forward to announce that they have brought a wedding present for the happy couple. Freddie opens the box and finds two pairs of ”Netlers”, the latest device for battling the forces of the closed Internet. They look like earphones with tiny antlers on them. A creative LOLcat explains.

LOLCAT: These new devices will filter out unwanted messages, like those
bully bullets coming from those nasty seals. And they jam the Eaglebot’s spying apparatus. They’ll introduce you to those who want to meet you online and they make it easier to pay for music and apps. Best of all, they will keep us all in touch with one another as we explore the open Internet.
NARRATOR: A Sheep from the Commons adds:

COMMONS SHEEP: We’re very proud to say that we made them ourselves. And there are enough Netlers for everyone.

FREDDIE: Let’s all put them on and work together!

NARRATOR: The Seals of Disapproval continue launching their cyberbully-ets but their hostile comments bounce right off the Netlers worn by the newly equipped wedding guests.

NARRATOR: The Puppies, Penguins, Cats and Sheep, equipped with Netlers, join in a defensive formation. But from the Seals’ perspective, the assemblage takes the shape of an imposing, large, stupendously large, SUPER MOOSE!

NARRATOR: Seeing it, the seals slink away in terror. Even the Eaglebot, thwarted and disoriented by a lack of data, crashes to the ground in dismay. And at the Big Data smorgasbord, all the data disappears from the plates.

MOOSE: It’s a startling resemblance - only very, stupendously, large!

NARRATOR: Freddie and Frieda and the Moose come together, exhausted but happy, after the victory.

FREDDIE: We just realized that all of us who believe in a free and open Internet — all of us — when we act together — WE’RE the New Moose!

NARRATOR: The Old Moose smiles his approval.

FRIEDA: Come on everybody! Let’s go explore!

NARRATOR: And so, having conquered their fears of disapproval, of malice and of new things, the whole wedding party happily sets out to explore the open Internet. Dogs and cats and sheep ride on Penguins, who frolic through the waves. As they fan out from the islands into the open sea, keeping in constant touch through their Netlers, they sing a song of victory:
